How Charm Bar & Restaurant Began
We opened Charm Bar & Restaurant in November 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. It wasn’t easy, but we believed Brooklyn needed something different—something that felt like home for many of us from the islands. The goal was simple: bring real Caribbean flavor to Park Slope in a space where people could feel welcome and enjoy something special.
Inspired by Caribbean Roots
Our food is a mix of Caribbean and American favorites. A lot of it comes from my family’s roots in Haiti, Jamaica, and Trinidad. Every dish tells a story—from the jerk chicken to the guava wings. We also make sure there’s something for everyone, which is why we have vegan options that keep the same quality and flavor as everything else.
